I'm new . . .

Hello everyone. I'm new and I've never been in a chat room before!! My surgery is scheduled for July 24th and I'm interested in getting information about the "Upstate Ladies" who meet every so often. I'd like to come to the next meeting.

Hey Karen... You are more than welcome to join in on the most exciting group around. I know they will welcome you just like they did me....with open arms. Everyone is so sweet and caring. Hi Karen!!!! Welcome to the SC board!!!!!! We would love to have you join us at our next meeting. It will be Monday at approx. 7pm. Just following Dr. Bour's postop meeting. Everyone will meet at McAlister's Deli in front of Walmart on Woodruff Rd. You must be so excited about your surgery. I am excited for you Can't wait to meet you!!! It is like we are all old friends and have known each other our whole lives. I love being a part of this group of women!!!!!! They are all the best!!!!! Melissa

Thanks Stephie. Good luck to you too. Are you one of Dr. Bour's patients? My husband and I just went to the presurgery meeting this morning and I think this thing is finally hitting me. I'm getting a little nervous, but still know it is the right thing to do. Unfortuantely, I'm a self pay, so things have progressed very quickly for me.

my Dr. is Dr. Ross he's in spartanburg...... I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers and thank you....... *big hugs* Stephie

woo hoo. the more the merrier. i am the loud the one though. i need to be "checked" every now and then. although patti is quite the comedian we found out monday.

Hey Karen Welcome Darlin', we're so glad you stopped by. A big "CONGRATULATIONS" on your upcoming surgery. I bet your excited beyond belief. I'm the codependet one of our group , so I'm always soooooo excited for everyones progress along thier journeydance: The Upstate Group has become a very important part of my life. Like Melissa said, it's as if we've known each other for a life time I missed the last one, but the good Lord willing I'll be there Monday. I'm going to add your name to our SC Weight Loss and Upcoming Surgery List This list tracks where everyone is at on thier wl journeys.
