The results are in...

Here are the results from my Psychological Evaluation. I will type what Dr. Russell wrote along with my impression in ( ). It was very funny!!! Here Goes... The patient was very honest in answering the test items. (except for the part about hearing voices .... ) Her thinking is clear and her self confidence is good. She is discouraged, probably about her weight. (DUH!!!) There was a past history of conflict - probably with a male - that left her feeling hurt, angry, and misunderstood. (OK...Ladies....What woman out there hasn't had a past history with a man???? I thought this was funny) She can be assertive when she chooses (true). She is not, overall, addiction prone. (what about my addiction to Krispy Kreme...??) She tries to follow rules carefully. (yep...) She denies being anxious about her health (ummm....he should have seen me before meds!!). She has a tendency to obessively worry (another duh?). She is extroverted (YEP) and is usually socially comfortable (YEP). AND THE BEST PART....She scores low on the critical "crazy" clinical scales thus she is a NORMAL person. So he determined that I am a good candidate for surgery. WHEW!! Glad they didn't get the straight jackets out this time. Also, glad my other personalities didn't come out!!! He didn't want to meet "BERTHA" or "Bobby Jean Ann"!!! LOL!!!! Just kidding. Too funny! I never saw my psych report! The test was too crazy though. I'm like 'no, I'm not crazy or thinking of killing myself or anyone else!!' I don't know how many times I answered that question in some form or other!

Hey Rachel, That was sooooo funny!! If I had known about your Krispy Kreme addiction, I would have brought you some on Monday.....(while you can still have them!!). It was good to meet you. Funny how it takes this to meet and we only live about 5 minutes away from each other!! I never saw my report...that's pretty cool that you were able to see what was said. The doctor that I saw was so intimidating...like he was trying to get me to back out of it. He even made a reference about me having surgery and working at Krispy Kreme and how could ever be sucessfull working there. So glad that yours went well!! Hugs, Dianne

Glad you enjoyed and glad to make you laugh. I have decided that I want Dr. Russell's job when he retires. I don't have any training in psychology but I believe I can determine if someone is crazy!!! It was also great to meet you last night. Your weight loss is so impressive!!! Also, your daughter is so precious. Hope I didn't corrupt her too much with my stories!!!
