Is this normal??
Ok, I know on the main board they rip you up for asking...but I was just wondering if anyone else has felt this way. Since my constipation episode, and using the Smooth Move tea, which did move things along...I've felt like my intestines are sore. Sort of like the tenderness when you are constipated, I guess. Is it normal to still be feeling a little sore?
Thanks Marcey! It's so hard not to worry about every little thing when I don't know what to expect! I didn't think it was anything serious, since I'm just a little tender inside. No fever or severe pain or anything. I took a walk tonight to get some exercise, and just help boost my spirits...just feeling blah today. It was so great to meet you last night! I wish I lived closer so I could make the soon to be weekly meetings.

Thank you, Sherry! It was good to see you too!! And your son is a handsome young man! Sometimes I feel great, and sometimes I get a little anxious being in this whole new world, afraid that things are going too well, and something scary is lurking around the bend! lol I'm weird like that.
I love the SC forum...you ladies are wonderful women! I have to say, I tried a little pintos and red sauce at Taco Bell today, and it wasn't so easy going down.
Guess I'll wait a little longer before trying it again! But man...it tasted SO good. LOL I'm getting tired of the full liquids.
Love ya, girl!

Hello Angel
Basically I believe that almost everything that you feel except really bad pain is normal.
Haven't we heard it all.
I will say too that my "guts" so to speak didn't really feel like they were "at home" untill about four months out. Plus like another poster said you have definitely been "rearranged"
Thankyou Dr. Bour right???
Just hang in there. Oh does Dr. Bour give you guys Pepcid??? Our surgeons prescribed it for the first six months. (perscription strength) I believe that helps too. You could take over the counter, but check with the doc first. It does more than sooth tummy. THE POUCH RULES!!!!
Take care, so nice to meet last week.
