QOTD: Walmart is close to our house so that's where I go to get prescriptions and groceries. I bring a list and have it ordered by aisle in the store so I can get in and out quickly. I try to avoid going on the weekends when it is busier. I rarely use coupons. They are usually for brand name items and I buy generic most of the time.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: chili cheese dog

D: hamburger patty with melted cheese

S: light n fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision (early this morning since it's supposed to be super HOT out today!)

A real scorcher here in Illinois--they're saying 96 for the high today so Lily and I did our 3.2 miles at 545 am. Well do another 1 mile or so at dusk when it cools down.

QOTD I usually use a list when I shop and usually shop at Rulers (a lower price Kroger partner),Aldi or Walmart. I hate that I use Walmart but they are the closest and therefore most convenient. I applaud the coupon people but am not that organized myself. Post op 4 years 9.25 months and weight at 117.6 today. Food for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2c carrots D 1/2 c chicken salad 1/2 c romaine lettuce S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals!

I had a wonderful weekend! We were kidless and will be again this coming weekend. Saturday we went to the beach like we do every weekend but sometimes it's nice not having to worry about the kids. I got some good swimming in.

QOTD: My life is way too chaotic to have any grocery store routine. If I need to go on my way home from work I go to Krogers which is expensive but have really good sales on meat. If it's a planned grocery store trip we like to go to HEB but for specialty stuff my husband goes to Central Market over by where he goes to culinary school.

B - coffee with creamer, premier protein bar

L - grilled chicken breast

The rest of the day is up in the air. I have lots of running around to do.

HEB carries the small batch pork rinds that I am obsessed with... might I suggest the pineapple ancho chili ones... or (surprisingly) the Kimchi BBQ ones are pretty great too! I haven't tried the bag of spicy dill pickle ones they sent me, but I have high hopes!

Beautiful, beautiful weekend, here AKA Texas HOT !!! Went to Salsa Rita Festival...lots of music/dancing/walking...Floated my tired self, in the pool, yesterday, and pretended I was exercising :)

I usually buy groceries, at the same store, with a list, on Sunday evenings...and EVERY week I swear I will pick a different day/time...but I never do...

B: Coffee/Protein shake/Coffee

D: Baked Chicken/Spinach Salad

Good morning,

My weekend was alot of traveling from South Carolina to Mississippi then Saturday to home in Michigan. I got to see 3 states I never been to. Sunday was extremely tired and had diarrhea all day. But I'm better today. Doing laundry currently.

QOTD I go to Sams Club once a month. Go to Aldis and whatever store that has stuff on sale that I need when I need groceries. Sometimes I use a list and coupons.

B coffee with splenda and creamer, egg mcmuffin and hash brown.

Good morning all! I had a great day with BF on Saturday. We had a lot of much needed, relaxing fun. It was so good to not think about the millions of things I need to take care, if only for a day. Sunday I went to see my dad. I took him to the cemetery to see my mom, then we got some take out for lunch and went to the beach to eat. He seemed to be doing okay, but he was more quiet and serious than usual. I know he misses my mom. He has been through so many changes lately and his dementia is progressing...it's got me in a serious funk. They say when one goes, sometimes the other isn't far behind and I guess that possibility is starting to sink in.

QOTD - I used to shop at TJ's for everything. There are a few things I couldn't get there and would pick up at Target. Now, I shop wherever...w/a list, no coupons, preferably alone and Friday after work/gym is my favorite time to go. I used to be so food obsessed and had a food hoarding issue that seems to have subsided. All I care about is having a variety of meat. I prefer to BBQ a mess of stuff on the weekend so I always have prepared protein. I will cook for my BF and DS a once or twice a week and it's always protein centered. We basically live off leftovers now and that is fine with me.
