What's on your Menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
The zip lines! Oh MY! The raging debates. lol Yes...half the men thought they telegraphed position. Half insisted they were absolutely imperative to get the women and children out to the safe meet zone in case the compound was breached. The zip lines were hidden in camo netting. Only to be used if "they" were on the property. "They" were going to be roving gangs of thieves apparently. The plan was to retreat via zip lines were we had a stash of guns and survival gear that we all could carry out. Basically if we lost the land we had a plan for 'bugging out.' We were never actually allowed to try the zip lines. They were only for emergency. Blah! Like the one fun thing would have been playing on the damn things. It was definitely a no-fun-time-end-times place.
Did I mention I lived in a 17 foot camper with three kids and wasn't allowed to go to town without a member of the church with me to 'watch' me? They all were pretty suspicious I might be the Devil. All things considered I don't know that were far off. ;) I am definitely still not living up to their ideas of proper womanhood.
Geez...it all sounds even crazier when I actually write it out. LOL

See this is why if I ever join a cult it would have to be led by a woman. I can't imagine my mom ever thinking "I'm going to let my kid slide down that zip line for the first time when 1. it hasn't been tested in who knows how long and 2. they are scared for their life. Nope!!! Test it out as often as possible before it is "needed" and learn how to do when you still have hospitals to care for any accidental bone breaking.

That is the craziest story I ever heard. DAMN! I thought I was a little nutty because I definitely overbought on the canned food for Y2K. Lol.
For all future End-Times I have vowed to only buy pretzels and coffee. All else is negotiable.

What are we dipping the pretzels in? My end of days scenario definitely involves Nutella.
