Hello everyone,

Late post today, another crazy day at work!

QOTD: I am the Health & Safety chairman of the agency that work for. We support people that have developmental disabilities. I don't have a kit put together but I do have mostly everything that is needed around the house. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of needing everything at one time in an emergency.

My body has had a difficult time to recovering from the stomach bug I had last week. I went from losing 6 pounds in 24hrs to now gaining 6 six pounds and I'm having very tough time jump starting my body to lose again despite sticking to my plan. Is this common? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

B: 2eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice of cheese

L: 3oz turkey sausage

S: 1 1/2 oz turkey breast, 1/2 prosciutto

D: 1/4 serving ricotta bake, 3oz pork tenderloin, 2 forkfuls of broccoli rabe

S: plain chobani yogurt

Calories:642, Carbs:10, Protein:98

I think be patient and give your body time to recuperate from the flu. It might be holding on to some water thinking "just in case". I'm confident it will even out.

Probably that weight you lost and gained was fluid!

My wife was a girl scout and lived in the middle of nowhere. She of course has a preparedness pack and she made me learn how to turn the gas off. We have water and enough cans of beans and tomatoes to kill me off.

If it's really is the end times I'm off with the first wave. No fear there.

I'm eating protein. That's all. So far today it's been tuna, salmon, and yogurt.
