Texas Roadhouse always makes me chuckle whenever I visit one (oddly enough I've never been to one actually in Texas) mostly because I have had so many people think this is actually how all Texans decorate. That said they do make a fairly good steak. Now if you are even in the Dallas area Culpepper's in Rockwall has the best steak I have ever put in my mouth, but you definitely pay for the privilege.

Good morning guys!

Super soggy here today! I am doing a quick post before we dash out the door for the day....Tuesdays tend to be my running around day, so we have an Orthodontist appointment this morning (where I get something called a quad helix...not sure how difficult that's going to make eating but I'll figure it out), then my son has OT, then he goes to school while I go to see my therapist, phew!

QOTD: I LOVE Fireworks, I actually worked at a Fireworks store for a summer several years ago, it was fast paced and I learned a lot, and I also got a nice discount so....we had awesome fireworks that year.

Countdown to RNY: 30 days

B: Greek Yogurt with the last of the strawberries

S/L/S - TBD....since we're on the go I'm thinking shakes

D: fiesta chicken (chicken + rotel + crockpot) with cheese on top and some FF greek yogurt in place of sour cream

E: Rest Day

Have a great day guys!

Kelsey

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. I am doing well and I am anxious for a long weekend, tomorrow I am going to awards day at the school. My youngest always gets some sort of academic award, he deserves it as he works very hard and is rewarded.

QOTD - Fireworks, I help put on a "Light show" as we call it, ( Fireworks are illegal in NY) Always a good time and the people love it, we get donations from all of the families and put on about a 45 minute show. Montreal has an International fireworks competition that runs on the weekends through the summer, they are incredible , though I have not been in a few years, worth a trip if anyone is close.

B - Chocolate premier protein

S - Light n fit greek yogurt

L - White tuna and may0

S - Buddig Turkey

D - Baked Cod

S - Buddig turkey

E - unsure at this time , might run , might go to the gym.

Stay Healthy my friends. Mike

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

I've been selling some of my "fat" clothes on our local plus size clothing exchange site on Facebook. Feels good to get rid of them plus I'm making a little bit of money!

QOTD: I love the sparkly kinds of fireworks, the pretty ones. The really loud ones - not so much. I guess I would miss the noise if they were all totally silent, though. My dogs aren't terribly terrified of fireworks, but they sure don't like them and are glad when the loud booms are over.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: broccoli, bacon, raisin salad, light n fit Greek yogurt

D: taco meat, cheese, sour cream, 1/2 flour tortilla

S: light n fit Greek yogurt

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

~ Karen

G'Morning all!

Had an apt with my cardiologist yesterday and he has given his ok for the surgery. I have a fairly rare condition called Prinzmetal's angina that my WLS surgeon has never dealt with so its a relief to get the all clear. Plus its one step closer to insurance approval so YAY.

QOTD: I rarely shoot off fireworks myself. It is not allowed inside city limits (although people do) and I would have to go out to my wife's "family farm" which is about an hour and half away. We do like to watch the shows put on by the city on the 4th. Before kids we would rent a boat and be on the lake as they did the show overhead, but mky kids are just now getting old enough that I might maybe trust them on a boat after dark. Also one of my favorite holiday memories was being in Washington DC for a mock UN over July 4th when I was 17. We got to watch the fireworks over the mall and it was AMAZING.

Menu:

B: smoked sausage, egg, and cheese scramble

L: Johnsonville smoked chicken breast (if you haven't tried these you should...they are individually wrapped chicken breasts that take about 45 seconds to heat in the microwave and are super tasty. you find them in the refrigerated section of the grocery store)

D: Leftover brisket maybe? depends on what my wife wants

S: Starbucks bacon gouda sandwich w/o the bread, muscle milk light

*edited for fat finger disease
