Hello everyone,

Beautiful in CT today but it's expected to get hot and humid. I hate humidity!

QOTD: New Balance for me all the way and like Grim said it's difficult to find any other brand off the rack in my size 12EEEE. Although now my feet are starting to get smaller with my weight loss. When I lost a bunch of weight a few years back I went from 12EEEE to 11EEE. I like do like Under Armor but at my current weight it's hard to find my size but it's getting easier.

B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice of cheese

L: 3oz turkey breast

S: 2oz turkey breast

D: 2 1/2oz black angus sirloin, 1/4 serving ricotta bake, 2 fork fulls of broccoli rabe

S: plain greek chobani yogurt

Cals:690, Carbs:10, Protein:90

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone!

Good morning and happy Wednesday! I have an appointment with my surgeon this afternoon. Not exactly sure why, to be honest, but he wanted to see me 6 weeks after my last appt, so I'll go. Of course my mind is going insane . . . my appt is at 3:00 which means I don't want to eat anything . . . god forbid I eat and my weight is up .4 from the food. #thestruggleisreal. Also, it's my assistant's birthday and she wanted cookies so I stopped at the store. There's a starbucks in the market, so I paid for her cookies and got in line for my coffee, then I saw the sign . . ."ESPRESSO MACHINE IS DOWN. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE." Now I have no coffee and I'm irrationally mad at my assistant.

DQOTD - I wear gap fit tees and long sleeve tops and bras and I love the fabletics pants. I signed up for the "membership" and usually just skip each month, but there's actually a store by me and every so often the have great sales. the last one was 30% off everything in the store plus an additional 10% off if you were VIP. I think I bought 5 pair of pants. I wear my workout clothes so much that I don't mind spending extra money on them. Also, I really baby them. Washed separately, hang dry, etc. I want the compression fabric to HOLD ME IN!! As far as shoes, I run in saucony. For other gym activities, I wear Nike Air Max. I have a small foot, so I can get away with the youth size which saves me a ton of money. I also outlet shop so that helps as well.

My plan (if I can force myself to eat)

B: hardboiled egg and hummus

L: Cauliflower with meat sauce or ham and cheese roll ups

D: No idea. I'm helping my friend "cater" her daughter's graduation brunch on Sunday and I'm going to her house tonight so we can shop. I'm assuming we'll pick up something from out.

S: Again, no idea. My go to snack is my coffee, but see above . . .

Hello DD2 and Gang!

QOTD- I'm still early in the weight-loss process so I'm wearing any short/pant with a drawstring waist, and old tee-shirts when I work out. I prefer NewBalance running shoes, but I'm a really terrible runner. My lack of running skills pre-dates any weight issues I've had. I just don't seem to have a natural stride :(

7 weeks post RNY/ 183 / Weight Loss stage

B- Hard boiled egg

MS- 113 g plain yogurt w/ 1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder and 2 diced strawberries

L - Light & Fit Blueberry yogurt

AS- 3 cubes cheddar cheese

D- 1/2 cup venison stroganoff

ES - 1 turkey "beef stick"

Total Calories: 683 Total Carbs: 27 Total Protein: 67

Yesterday it was 94F when I got home from work, but I still changed into shorts and a tee and took the dog for a walk. We walked about 45 minutes but it was never more than a leisurely pace. I was still a little flushed and sweaty an hour afterwards. The dog (my sister's high energy pointer) was totally crashed all evening. I'm going to try to walk again this evening.

Do you guys remember me? I was in Reno with a horrible boyfriend?

Well, I kind of had a nervous breakdown. My family came and packed me up and moved me to Los Angeles. The terrible guy is gone forever and I live in Santa Monica, CA and have made a fresh start. The weight loss has been the most extraordinary part of the entire journey, it's almost surreal. There's so much to tell (the West LA dating scene, I'm getting a podcast about dating post gastric bypass and Tinder but I figure I'd see if you even remembered who I was before I started blabbing.

QOTD: I own no workout clothes. I have a few sports bras from post skin surgery, they were cheapo from Walmart type. I do have leggings I ADORE though... LuLaRoe. Soooooo soft. I love them.

Menu: B: Running late today so it is kind of breakfast/lunch Greek yogurt with granola and a banana; Lunch/Afternoon snack: 2 oz cheddar cheese and 1 serving Melba toast; S: Apple; D: Anything easy! Not sure what but thinking about grilling chicken breasts with salad. All of our out of town guests are finally gone and I am exhausted. Up way too late too many days.

Accountability: On the good side...no smoking even though we took our Alaskan visitors to a bar in downtown Austin last night. Bar are a really tough trigger for me. I immediately want a smoke when I walk into one.

Bad side, we went to Buca di Beppo for their last night of vacation and I was a mess. I ate way too mu*****luding pasta, several bites of cheese cake, two bites of cannoli filling, and then a vodka and club soda (at the bar). Weirdly...no RH episode. I thought for sure I would feel rotten but I didn't. This morning though my ankles are soooo swollen and my weight was 129.am really glad company is done visiting, I need to get back to my regular routines. Unfortunately I am travelling this weekend out of town and will be out of routines again but after this weekend I am home and no company for a good while. I know I am always responsible for what goes into my body but there are definitely times making good choices feels easier.

Hello Everyone,

It has turned into summer here! Very warm day today and humid as well. I'm an in the middle kind of person. Also, I have huge... and I mean huge amounts of hanging skin on my upper arms. I have no idea how to dress that in this weather. I conduct HS students all day and although the skin keeps an excellent off beat, I just can't have flapping wings in front of these kids. So I've tried to find as many elbow length shirts as I can but any other suggestions are taken.

QOTD: I mainly have bathing suits for water aerobics and I use Krinkle swim wear because it's great to move in and it wears for a long time. I have bad feet so the only shoes I can use are Vionic's. They make my feet feel much better than any other brand.

B: decaf and protein hot chocolate

L: chicken thigh meat with salsa

D: grilled chicken tenders with romaine and light dressing
