I'm shrinking away to nothing...
Well, we got morbidly obese from eating carbs. Protein or fat didn't make us fat. Lay off the carbs. If you don't, you will gradually eat more and more. Bad, bad habit.
If you don't eat enough protein, your body is going to get it anyway. And it will do it by breaking down muscle. So you'll lose weight, but your body fat percentage will go up.
Your heart is a muscle. Too little protein for a long period will weaken your heart muscle too. Protein is necessary for hair. That will be one of the first to suffer.
I understand not wanting to eat, I really do. But it's time to hunker down and eat your protein.

I've been here over 13 years and have yet to see anyone "disappear". A lot of us get disinterested in food, lose more weight than we imagined we would. It's nothing special - just a phase.
Noone says you have to be excited about drinking or eating. Just get on with it! Time to suck it up and do what you need to stay healthy.

We are all experts on gaining weight. You are too.
But I wouldn't worry about it. I'm 6'3", and briefly hit 179, so my BMI was below yours. I had weird bones all over the place. But that's just your body adjusting. If you stayed the same weight you are now, a year from now, you would not feel those same bones.
Don't go nuts trying to gain. In year 2 you will gain even if you don't want to. In year three you will gain a bunch, and be begging for the secret of how to lose it.
Your BMI is safely in the upper end of normal. You aren't used to a normal sized body. You are used to a morbidly obese sized body. Really, you'll be fine. Don't go nuts.

This is sooooo true.
At around 4 years out I went through the wonder of "fat redistribution." I was so glad. I looked WEIRD at my rock-bottom weight (very ET like). But it evened out. Plus I just got used to this version of myself. I'm good now.
But you're right, Grim. I think we freak out when we reach a size we either haven't seen in a long time or have never seen at all.

I dropped lower than I wanted too and thought I was too skinny as well. My weight drop did stop and I'm used to this weight now (been here for almost 6 months) though at first I thought I was very bony. It has either readjusted on my body or I've gotten used to what normal BMI looks like on me now.
