Hi All- it's been so long since I have been here - over a year. I had my rny 12/8/15. My weight loss has stalled due to my poor eating choices. Too much stres- but I can't use that excuse anymore- who doesn't have stress in their life?? Anyway, just wanted to check in. Good to see some familiar names!

Welcome back. Stick around.

It's easy to drift. A bad day turns into a week, a month, a year.

Read and post every day. Just the simple act of coming here helps me remind myself of what I need to do. It helps a lot.

Welcome back.

Thanks for being open, honest and putting something so personal out there for all of us to see, you are in the right place. Thanks for letting us know that you are aware that you made poor choices. You can get back to high protein, low carb and good eating choices! We are all here on OH because we have several things in common: we are all food addicts, we had weight loss surgery and we looking for people who "get it." We get it, I get it.

I am 3.5 yrs out of RNY surgery. Maintenance is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I personally didn't like high school or university, especially MATH, I suck at math but I would rather go back some days and redo all my math & calculus classes 100 times over then have to figure out/count out one more calorie/or protein gram/how much have I drank today/how much protein does that food have in it/get out my scale and weight my 4oz of dense protein/when did I poop last/did I take my vitamins today and why is birthday cake so yummy?

This life post surgery is hard! Come here often to OH. Join us on the "Whats on the menu today RNYers" a bunch of us post our menus, talk about life and get to know each other.

Best of luck, you can do this!

You all are GREAT! I feel re-energized and not alone. I need to remember my "why" and the hell I have been through to get here so as to refocus on my purpose. I have always hated rules, but I have learned that there are some I have to follow for a reason. I so admire the commitment you all have shown. I am awed and humbled by your tenacity in this life-long journey. What app, program, or food plan do you all use? Thank you, everyone!
