What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
JB- Job Smob! I say quit and become a travel writer! Then you and Grim can travel the world and write about all the meat you find along to way. :) Hope everything turns out awesome for either way.
Happy Thursday. I have been exhausted this week. Definitely went back to work too soon after my hernia repair last week but am feeling better today. Work has been crazy busy but is slowing down and I am catching up paper work today.
No new RH episodes. I tossed the SF puddings I had left and although I still have had the no sugar added ice cream in the evening I actually measured out the portion and found it was not the same as I have been serving myself. LOL As Grim always says, eyes measure wrong almost every time...use real measuring or you will over eat. Tracking in MFP so when I meet with my doc next week I have my log up to date and ready to ask questions.

Oh that I could quit and travel and eat yummy meats of the world. Ah, the dream! But if this position works out I might actually make enough that I may someday be able to retire, so that's kind of awesome, right?
Good morning everyone from sunny Portland. Another 80+ degree day today, and I am in vitamin D heaven. Uh oh, JB. Does this mean I will be hiding in the bathroom to drink coffee so as not to tempt you? I'll do it, I swear!
I did the promised vertical hike yesterday. I didn't count the stairs, but well over 200 and an elevation gain of about 1000 feet. It was a killer, but felt great when I was done. I'm going back this morning to do it again, and will keep going bac****il I can run up them easily. I am feeling it in my gluts today, though.
QOTD: I am a PNW girl, so a love of Starbucks is legally required. I also love another local coffee roaster called Stumptown. They have a roast called Hairbender, and believe me, it is appropriately named. I love super strong coffee, and I drink it black (don't put any crap in my drug of choice. Except Baily's. You can put Baily's in it).

Beautiful day in CT!
JB, I'm so happy that things are looking good for you at work! I hope all your dr. appointments go well and that you get some help for the achilles. Maybe your doc will give you a support brace.
QOTD: NO STARBUCKS!!!! LOL! I hate that stuff but there are plenty of people that swear buy it....way to strong for me. I think McDonald's coffee tastes like water. I am a die hard Dunkin fan! I buy one small iced coffee a day and I love their iced green tea.
