What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
First that picture made me laugh....
Second I had this revelation last night- kind of a smack yourself in the head- are you an idiot? revelation. So the kid personal trainer, had me do a food diary for a week. But he told me he wanted me to do it on paper. And then to also write down how I was feeling. So I did it in two columns one I did what I planned for the day and I still put it in my fitness pal and wrote the totals and then in the other column was sort of the running diary of what I eat, what times, and what I was thinking or feeling.
It was a really interesting experiment. And the last night I did it before I was going to see him the next day --I wrote on this piece of paper 10 lessons that I learned. In there I wrote I am nauseous a lot. And I also noticed that I get that stuck feeling in my throat or burning in my throat a lot. I was also complaining of a lot of hungry days.
So that being said the revelation I had was nauseous? hunger? is your GERD. And JB listening to you it's part of what made me realize. I like to think I don't have an acid problem and I thought it would go away when my hernia was repaired, it did get better but it didn't go away. I have an acid problem. So I took my PPI yesterday. I hesitate to go to the Bariatric office over it as I know they will go right to an endoscopy....

Excited to see pics of the dress!
Yes, start back with the PPI and see if that gives you some relief.
Uugh about your achilles. I would recommend seeing a doctor about it, for sure. They can help you make sure it heals properly. You won't need surgery, most likely, but maybe a brace of some sort will help. Definitely get it checked out, because if it heals wrong and you strain it later on you run the risk of a more serious injury. After everything I've seen my hubby go through, it's definitely better safe than sorry.
I'll be back later to post, just had to respond to this when I first read it. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks. I just went to the school nurse for an ice pack as step 1.

Neither--I just wanted to get it elevated with ice when I didn't need to be walking on it today.
I wore sneakers today and stayed off it as much as I could and only got 5500 steps at work.

Glad the medicine is working JB. It sucks to have that feeling.
Question of the day. I want to be friends with the girls in Sex in the City. I actually want to be Samantha Jones. She is my favorite character.
B:Hard boiled egg coffee and lots of it.
L:Burger no bun
D:Pulled pork I am making that for a pot luck dinner tonight. I am going to eat before I go. There will be a ton of food there. I don't want to overindulge
It is supposed to get warm and sunny today and through the weekend. Thank goodness. I feel so much better when the sun is shining.
Have a great day.
