Thanks Eldy!  Yes i do count anything that is a runny fluid ast room temp as fluids, so proteins, broths, ect...its all liquids.  That is probably the most important part i think I took away from my pre-op group meeting that i HAD to attend.  it makes perfectly good sense b/c how are you suppose to get 48-64 oz of fluids plus all the protein.  I love the fact that my 20 oz isopure gives me practically 1/3 of my fluids and almost half of my protein.  It all works for me.  Thanks again and I am finding my spot on the bench to be quite comfy.

Welcome home, Brian.  I am so glad everything worked out.  Now you have an interesting surgery story to tell!  LOL    Its all going to be amazing from this point on.  I still pinch myself sometimes.   When you count your fluids, you include the protein shakes.  Are you doing that?  Hey, if it seems obvious to you, sorry about that.  It wasn't for me.  LOL    It was like a lightbulb went off when someone told me!  Of course, I DO dye my hair blonde so I guess I fit the bill!    Take care and onward to a healthier you!!   Eldy

Topic: RE: Bariatric Advantage Sample Kits
Hi Jennifer!  Thank you!  Just to let you know what I have found to be good,  I have tried Isopure no carb.  it has 40 grams of protein for 20 oz bottle.  and the taste isnt bad.  Also have tried Nectar which is by Syntrax.  They have a deal going on for a sample kit of theirs, email them, they will respond with the price, but i wanna say shipping and a buncha samples are like 10 bucks.  Also as I stated in my original message, the EAS AdvantEgde is good,  17 grams of protein.  I have only tried chocolate but its good.  Anyway thanks again and good luck with your journy!!

Congratulations on your success.  5 years and holding the line is REMARKABLE and something to be very proud of.  It shows your commitment to lifestyle change and especially with all the stresses in life that are presented to us to continue to hold that line and not revert to far into old habits that is amazing.  You are continued inspiration to me.  I am in awe of so many that have embarked upon this journey before and after me at the possibilities for me seem limitless.  Thanks for showing us what is possible and please lean in for support yourself, it helps us all to help each other.
Love you girl!
Can not wait to see you this week.

Thanks guys i appreciate it.  I have been sipping all day.  and protein, so far so good.  though i wont hit my goal today, but pretty close and seeing as its my first day home, thats pretty damn good,  by the time i am done with what i am working on now, i will have had 44 ounces of fluid and 74 g of protein.  i will end up with a little more fluid but may not have more protein today, but still, seeing as the goal is 80-100 and this is my first day, i think i have done pretty darn well.  Anyway, thanks again!

Lisa-  You are such an inspiration!  Your attitude and strength are amazing to me.  Thanks for updating us and congrats on your REMARKABLE results.  The pictures are amazing!  I may just have to take you up on that offer to get out some night soon.  Need some insight on the skin issues.
CONGRATULATIONS on all of your hard work and dedication to a healthier lifestyle!

Welcome to the party.  I am glad that you are feeling well despite the rough start in the hospital.  Keep the sprits up, move often and be sure to sip, sip, sip and be sure to get that protein in.
Thoughts and prayers are with you through your journey!
