I am so glad you are doing well you kinda scared us for a while but sound like you got it under control now, Glad your wonderful man was able to hang in there by your side and glad he is working, My Al got laid off last week so we are just holding our breath, I still have the same job but he usually makes more than twice what I do and unemployment wont even get close to what we need. Just praying that something will come thru soon.

Hello everyone. I am from Houston, TX but will be visiting Oregon (Beaverton, Portland, Cornelius) beginning Friday, 03/06/09.

I have family there and am planning on surprising my Grandmother who doesn't think I am coming till the end of the month. I am all about meeting new people especially those of you who have had WLS, or are thinking about it. I will be there from 03/06/09 to 03/16/09 and just wondered if any of you would like to get together.

I posted last year when I visited and had a great time meeting new folks, so if your interested in maybe meeting just to have lunch or maybe sight see send me a PM, I would love to meet you!

Hugs-
Erica

I haven't been on here much either.... and yet i feel a real connection to you and the others here.

I'm so glad things are finally doing well for you!!

Life has been very different for me this past year as well.  I had a MAJOR reconstructive surgery (ies) in July and have had complications.  I will undergo surgery on 4/6 to repair seromas that persist and a bit of reconstructive work.

I haven't been working for 10 months.  To say that it has taken a bit of a toll is an understatement, but life goes on and I am learning a new life style.  I'm not only not ready to retire, I can't so I keep my options open.

I hope we can all get together again at some point!

(((blessings)))

My surgeon suggested Lean quisines and healthy choice because the  portions are right. I was able to lose 9 pounds. I don.t like shakes.
