Dear Kim, My heart and thoughts will be with you on Thursday.  I hope your surgeon is able to right things inside and we hear that you are getting better.  You have been a brave girl and kept your chin up in this toughest of times!  I know Henry will continue to take good care of you and hopefully you will both enjoy seeing you bounce back steadily if not quickly.  Your body is young and you are committed to your health - I know it is going to be O.K. I too am having surgery this Monday to get my knee replaced.  I was supposed to have it done November 12th, but an unexpected root canal made my surgeon post-pone it.  Didn't want to risk cross infection.  I'd rather be having plastic surgery, but I am excited to be getting this huge improvement on quality of life.  We will both spend December laying low on the couch gazing at the X-mas lights. Chrissy,  Good luck today and let us know how you are doing.  After seeing you last night---you look so good and tiny by the way,  you need to put up a new picture!    Julia

Julia, Thank you.  I had my surgery and all went will.  Dr Hansen ended up doing my surgery, because Dr. Spence was broke down in Portland.  They tell me this AFTER I have my IV in and already to go into surgery at 7:30, Dr Hansen said that I could wait until Dr. Spence got back in a few hours or he could do the gallbladder surgery, and I said "LETS DO THIS"  So everything turned out just fine, THANK OUR GOOD LORD,  a little nausea, but I believe they said this is normal, going to call Dr H as soon as they open and ask.  I had surgery at 7:30 and left Mercy at 1:00  just give me drugs and more drugs and I will be fine. Glad everything went well for you.  Dr. Hansen is good from what we have heard so you were in good hands.  I had to stay overnight in the hospital when I had mine done three years ago---of course I was very overweight at the time--maybe that makes a difference.  Get some drugs and rest.  Julia
