Hi all you lovely, lovely people...I am home...but sore.
Congratulations and Welcome to the loser's bench!!! It may be some time yet before you feel like standing straight up and taking off. That's normal. Just remember to take your pain meds when needed and walk and keep sipping your fluids. If you have concerns or important medical questions, don't hesitate to call your doctor. All of the surgeons each have their own preferences of how they like things done. So, call your surgeon to be sure.
I wish you a speedy recovery!
Congrats! I have been thinking about you, knowing you have been eager to get your surgery done. The pain will ease and you will get to the point that you no longer need the Percocet (haven't had my WLS yet but I have had an abdominal hysterectomy!) Keep walking and try to stand up straight if possible.
Can't wait to hear more of your story and how successful you will be!
