I am so sorry to hear this latest news.  I hope that he took a change for the better during the night.  I am praying for  him as well as Amy and family right now.  "Where ever two or more are gathered together in prayer there will I be and hear and answer their prayers".  I know we are all praying and trust that the Lord will take care of Randy!!

Good news this morning!  Randy's white count is down which means he is responding to the antibiotics.  The CT scan they did at 4:30 this morning didn't show any problems.  He has phenonia (okay happycat the teacher will have to tell me how to spell!) but responding to meds and doesn't appear to have moved into sepsis or anything like that.

He is still in ICU but hopefully not for long now that they know exactly what they are dealing with.  This morning I was feeling very alone when they booted me out of ICU for his CT scan so I went in the waiting room.  Everyone was laid out sleeping except for this one guy that looked kind of arrogent.  He had a Virgin Island Hooters shirt on.  I bet you know who that made me think of! LOL!!!!

I tell you what, as much as my DH can irritate the snot out of me at times, I am sure not ready to lose him!!  I am so thankful that things are looking up.  Thank you for the prayers.  I am printing out all the well wishes and taking them to him when I go back up there in a bit.  I came home for shower and maybe nap.

I rejoice at this update, Amy.
Prayer is SO powerful. There were several needs on several boards last night. I slept for a few hours and then woke up to pray again. It always amazes me how such a great God would allow such a small Me to partner with Him, in prayer.
Please get some rest. All is well.
Blessings,
Mary

Amy, I am so happy to hear your latest update!  I wasn't online last night so I was pretty upset when I read Camille's post.

Randy, hang tough big guy!  We care about you and your family!  Keep fighting that mean old infection so you can get well and go home.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)
