It depends on what type of polyp you're talking about. I did have a colon polyp removed during my colonoscopy earlier this year. I don't remember any of it. They had me pretty drugged, so I didn't have to *man up* for anything ... other than the day before the procedure...now that was rough! ; )

Yea, you get the good stuff for a colonoscopy! This is a cervical polyp and I've had one removed before and it was really painful! I don't plan to repeat that!

Ouch! Definitely request that they numb it before removing it, or request drugs!
