 I had a polyp removed when I had my colonoscopy but I was so out of it I thought the doctor was showing me home movies and it was my colon.  Heavy duty drugs are a must.  Be sure to weight both before and after.  I count getting my hair cut as a loss...

 One more thing, although you may not be old enough yet.. after you're 50, as long as you and your spousal unit are monogomous, you don't need a yearly PAP, just the yearly exam.  I'm not sure that's a fair exchange for turning 50 but he thought it was...donna

I had them sedate me! My doctor said she usually just snips them off in the office, but I wasn't brave enough to let her try!

Oh Kim....YUCK!  I'm hoping he doesn't have friends as well.  Maybe he's just the scout, sent in ahead of the others to scope the area!  Anyway, definitely ask for sedation.  Fentenal (sp?) sounds much better than Valium (although it does call for an IV)...and it will help you to sleep most of the day.  Anyway, good luck & keep us posted. 

 What the heck???  I'm sorry to hear about your little guy.  Hope he's a loner and you can get him evicted without much discomfort.  Let me know if you need anything.  I'm a good chauffeur.  I swear.  Ask my kids....no, don't.
