Hit my first goal!!
Afternoon y'all!
I am excited to report that I hit 275 today! That means I have lost a total of 75 of which 30 is post op. Woo-hoo!
Any ideas on how I should reward myself? I was thinking about getting fake nails but I'm not sure if I am ready for the every two week or so maintenance on those things.
Also, can I add a request to remember my DH tomorrow? He is having reflux surgery at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow. We are hopeful that it will cure reflux and his asthma that they think is related to the reflux.
I hope everyone is having a great Sunday! I know I am. I just tried on some more clothes I got from some OH buddies and they fit! Woot!!!

Way to go girlfriend! Nice way to set a goal and attack! Congratulations!
I will definitely send a little prayer for your sweet hubby! I hope it all goes slick, fast, successful, and quick to heal! Please keep us posted on how he does.
Congrats on the clothes! Those kind of WOW moments are so, so thrilling. The people you work with must be so impressed with your new look!

That is great!!! I am so excited for you! It is amazing how fast it has come off.....
I used to do digestive research with a Dr. and they found, by an Endoscopy that I was having bile refluxing up into my esophogus. I was on two Aciphex a day, so we ruled out the acid refluxing back up...Aciphex and those type meds do not work on bile. Now I am on a different med for that. They also did a study and found that many adult onset athma patients did have symptoms caused by Gerd or reflux...Who would ever think that could be it! I will pray that this will help him.
Congrats on fitting into your clothes too!! That is always incouraging!!

Hi, Amy.
Congratulations on meeting your first goal. 75 lbs. is awesome! Yes, do something nice for yourself. Make it something that won't require maintenance, though, in my opinion. Maybe a new nightgown. That just might cure DH! ;) Seriously, I will be praying for him, that the surgery will be successful and he'll feel like a new man. Since he's got a "new" wife, it's only fair.
Blessings,
Mary

Yippee!! Way to use your tiny tummy to advantage! Maybe you could get a massage as your reward? There is a good ploae in Edmond that is affordable. Kim's husband goes there all the time.
Yes, Randy's asthma should get better if they can control his GERD. Once they got my GERD under control a few years ago my asthma got much better. Please post when he is out of surgery. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

Great idea!!!! A massage would be wonderful!!! Do you know the name of the place Kim uses? Randy has also been looking for a place to go that is reasonable so maybe we should get a babysitter and have an afternoon spa retreat!!

Congratulations! You have done fantastic! I have acrylic nail overlays and only go once a month to have them refilled, but a massage does sound good! I will have to remember that -- only a couple of pounds to my first goal!
Randy will definitely be in my prayers for an uneventful and successful surgery.
I think my reward for hitting 250 will be the nails. Are acrylic overlays the same thing as what they call "pink and white" or "solar"? I'm so lost on this stuff but I know the ones I see that I like on others look like a french manicure.
