Last Tuesday I was weighed  not one of the things I like to do and was told I had lost 12 pounds since the last time....well On Saturday I got weighed again and the arch enemy scale said I have lost another 3 pounds. PLease explain to me how I am able to do this when I have been a naughty girl...been not getting my protein in and I have been crunching on hicama...

Jicama is a fairly low calorie veggie.  I have never looked up the nutrient info but I am sure it is not too high in anything except maybe carbs.  Your body will meet it's protein needs even if it has to use muscle to do it.  Obviously you are eating fewer calories than your body needs.  Congrats on the loss though.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I'm glad you cleared that up because I was thinking what the heck is hicama/jicama whatever.  Obviously veggies are not my strong point!  Now, if it would have been a brand of chocolate..I would have been all over that! LOL!

Jicama is a VERY low carb veggie...for 1 cup of slices, it is 46 cals, 11 g carb, 6 g fiber, and 1 g protein.  I loooove using the stuff on wraps for an added crunch...gotta have that crunch sometimes, ya know!

Oh, and I have learned, naughty sometimes doesnt mean squat.  Sometimes I find that if I am REALLY good, little to no carbs, high protein, good liquids, etc, my body hates it and keeps EVERY ounce on my hips.  BUUUUUUT, let me have just ONE fried Oreo, and off comes 4 lbs.  (NOTE:  While I highly recommend trying a deep fried, batter dipped Oreo ONCE in your life, I do NOT recommend it as a weight loss device...trust me...pre-op, I tried, and, well, not so much) Also, are you running around like a madwoman while eating your jicama?  Hmmm??????
