Think I over did it today
I don't really know why, but I am VERY sore this evening! The only thing I can think of is that I over-did it. I didn't really do much per se, but I just didn't rest as much. Was up and down a lot more, no nap, did some driving around etc...
I've done OK on my fluids today. About what I've been doing (between 50 & 60). It is going to take me awhile to go any higher than that!
I'm going to try to take it easy for the rest of the night.
You all, BE GOOD and I'll be on tomorrow!

Girl,
You better take it easy. You only have one body, so take good care of it! Give yourself plenty of time for getting around and stuff! You'll be able to run and jump and do all the fun stuff you want in a month or so!
Big Love,
T.

Definitely try to take it easy. You don't want to have too many days where you overdo. You'll start to feel better soon!

Perfectly normal when you start getting active again. We sometimes forget that it is a pretty big surgery and our tummies haven't forgiven us yet.
Sounds like you're doing great! Each day will be a little better with a little more energy and drinking will feel normal again. It just takes some time. As my sister says (HappyCat) it's like having a little alien in your body that is in control! Although that will make more sense to you when you start on mushies!
High five on your water intake - you're doing good! I remember being happy to go to bed so I wouldn't have to try to force any more liquids in! LOL!

Dr Walton told me it would take 4-6 weeks to feel 100% again and I found out quickly what he meant! I felt so good I tried to go to Tan and Tone the first week of surgery. The machines do all the work, right? First mistake! I went back to work 1 week after surgery and felt so good I stayed a full day right off -- and was in bed by 7 PM! (before my 2 year old grandson) The rest of the week I left early. After that I was usually in bed by 9 PM. Now at 6 weeks out I can finally stay up to watch the news. Slow down and let your body guide you.
Thanks everyone... I seriously feel more sore today than I did when I was in the hospital. It is so weird.
All 7 of my incisions look good though. I think I'm just going to lay around today. MAN, the dishwasher needs unloaded and re-loaded though. I think I might pay my 15 year old to do it today after school so it is at least running when Josh comes home.
Thanks again, everyone!
