Hi everybody,
I am having a terrible time trying to get my building block vitamins down.  The sickeningly sweet taste is making me gag to the point I almost hurl.  Uhhhh, not sure I can keep going through this each time I have to take one of these things.  They suck!!!!!!  I know Dave offers a liquid vitamin on his site, but is there anything else out there maybe at Wally World or another drug store?  I would appreciate any input you can give me.  Crap, it is almost time to take another one of those vitamins!!!!!!!!!  GAG!!!!!

You should check with your doctor to see what he recommends.  My program allows the Centrum chewable from Wa..Mar..  It isn't sweet, but rather a sour orange flavor.   Good luck!

I use the Centrum chewable and find them not to be too bad and not overly sweet.

I'm sorry your having problems.  I also take the Building Blocks, but I really don't have a problem with them.  I think Wolf switched vitamins because he couldn't do the chewables.  You might sent him a PM and see what he is taking. He had his surgery with Dr. Gorospe also so he may have already talked to him about alternatives.

I take the Centrum chewables too.  I'm not a big fan but they are doable and cheap.  If you tuck them in to the side of your mouth and chew quickly, you don't really even taste it til it's on it's way down!  (I know!  I'm a juvenile!)

I use Centrum chewable also.  Then, I brush my teeth to get rid of the flavor!  However, I find them more tolerable post-op than pre-op.  My tastes have changed since surgery.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

I don't know how far out you are, but the building block vitamins come in capsule for calcium & Multi and pill form for the iron also. That is what I use now. Little cheaper too than the chewables.

I was taking Building Blocks but I ran out and didn't want to drive to Owasso to buy them.  So I bought Centrum Maximum's yeasterday.
