Hey, i hope that this post finds all of my new friends doing well.  i just love this site even if i don't have anything to say i just love the browse around and read all of the positive post on here.

As i said in my subject title, "WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES".  When i was on here for the first time last week and was asking for help, i was certain that i wouldn't make it through the next couple of days let alone two weeks.
And here i am only 4 days away from having mushies, but you know what i'm not even craving them right now.  I was finally able to up my fluid intake and that has made a difference.  I also have been able to workout on my elliptical twice a day for 10 minutes each.  What a mental boost that is.  The only thing i have had any problem with in the last couple of days is my vitamins.  After i would chew them up i would really feel sick (blah), but my husband suggested that i should break them up and only chew a little every few minutes and you know what, it has worked no more (blah).

And allow me to toot my own horn, I have lost 30 pounds since i began this journy (12 since surgery on the 11th).  It feels so great to be on the LOSERS BENCH.

By the way, a friend of mine is having VSG on Wednesday.  Her name is Shannon, please keep her in your prayers.  Rita, please keep an eye on her for me.  (I told her how great YOU are).

You all are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The second week is definitely easier once you are able to increase your liquid intake, at least it was for me. Glad you are feeling better.

I had the exact same problem with the vitamins after surgery. I talked to Jess and she gave me a spray form or the multis, and I can stomach that really well. So if it keeps up, give her a shout. Glad to hear you're doing awesome!!

Congratulations on your progress and you're almost home free to mushies!!! : ) Congrats on your exercise routine ... it is, indeed, a great mental and physical boost.

I will be keeping your friend, Shannon, in my thoughts and prayers for a save and successful surgery and speedy recovery!

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

You are doing so good!!  I also had the exact same problem with those nasty lemon bariatric chewable vitamins.  I talked to Dr. B. last week and he gave me the okay to swallow a mutli vitamin if I could find a small enough one.  I took happycats advice and bought the Walgreens store brand multi vitamin with iron and I can swallow it just fine.  I am much happier.  I will say that Jessica was not in agreement with Dr. B. on that but you know I just can't take phenergine every time I take a vitamin.  And the spray vitamins are even worse.

Oh my gosh, you are so right about having to take he phenergine.  I hate how i feel after i take my vitamins, but breaking them up has seemed to help.  But I'm still not a fan, i am taking the watermelon.  I go to see Jessica on Friday and i will see what she says, but spray vitamins, not real sure.  I will definitly keep the Walgreens multi in mind.

Have a great DAY!

Everytime I begin to struggle and snack, the first thing I realize is that my water intake is way down....liquids are really so much more important than we tend to realize.
