BLAH BLAH AND BLAH

Ok so I dont share alot on here or rather afraid to share the drama sometimes.  I love my job and there is an opening for a position that I am currently the back up for.  Its way better pay and well a step up.... I was lead to believe the last 4-6 months that the promotion would be mine to learn a week or so ago, the position is being posted and there is a HUGE chance I wont get it.

Well I know that everything happens for a reason and my husband wants to move to Tulsa so bad it isnt even funny.  I am afraid of change I guess and worry I wont be able to find a decent job as I have no degree.  I am currently Logistics Administrative Assistant.  Fancy word for traffic admin assistant.  I do the payroll, stats, etc...

Please keep in your prayers that all of my worries works out for good reasons.  I am down and dumpy over it and slowly losing faith in the ones I work for.

Personally, I think God just gave you a kick in the pants- Tulsa way.  Sometimes what we think we want isn't what we need or are supposed to have.  If DH has a good job offer in Tulsa then go for it!  You will find a job you like in a big city like Tulsa.  Make sure you don't burn any bridges where you are so you can get a good reference and that they will verify your good job skills.  If you are worried about not having a degree then staet working on one!  The fall semester starts in less than a month!  Hit a junior college and go for it.

Good luck!

Denise

I'm really not sure what "decent Job" is in your eyes, but I know that where I work, we're hiring for office work. Degree is not needed. Clerical skills are. The pay is about $10.60 per hour. It's in Tulsa 51st and 129th area

if you're interested, let me know

Girl I would love to have you here in Tulsa.  Put out some feelers in the area.  You just might be surprised at what is available.  Personally a degree is not everything and this is coming from someone who has hers...lol. Some of the best people who have worked for our company did not have a degree but had on the job experience.

Don't be afraid of change

Oh I hate it when companies throw sand in the eyes of their loyal employees.  It makes me really angry!    Maybe this is truly your opportunity to make the change your DH is wanting so badly.  I'll keep you in my prayers!

I'll be keeping your job and moving opportunities and decisions in my prayers. I'm also praying for you to have a peace in your heart and clear direction on what is best for you and your family.

Ditto what the others have said. I wasn't even looking when I got this job. Dh said let's go for it, and it's been a blessing for him as it has advanced him within his company (he transferred) and is closer to being a store manager now than he was before. It's been good for all of us, even though last year was a tough one, and I really, really miss my house and in-laws in Enid.

Things happen for a reason, and we don't always understand them.  Try to think positively. ((Hugs))
