SHARK WEEK!
(I've read it's really more shock and less science than ever, but I don't care I don't care I don't care-it's SHARK WEEK and they usually rerun some of the old programs too.)
What I find most comforting of all is that if Discovery devotes a whole week of programming-it means there really are more people like me out there. Some of you may find that a little scary...LOL.

They breach at the Farrallons too. Did you read Devil's Teath? I was actually a little disappointed, because it was more about the intrepid adventures of the author than the actual sharks...I didn't need to pay 25 bucks to read some journalist gloat over and over about what she got to do.....that just added insult to injury. But, maybe she was just trying to discourage people from camping out at the Farrallons, which is illegal. The Islands are a maternity ward for pregnant sharks, so it's important that the animals remain undisturbed. It's a no chum zone.
Out of San Diego, you can go 5 days on a boat to Guadalupe and dive every day, which is really a "better" deal, but I don't know about spending 5 days in Mexico with 20 people I don't know-and no one I know will go with me.
Anyone wanna go see some sharks? They do chum in Guadalupe, and the sharks are smaller-12-15 feet mostly, not the big girls like up North. But, the water is clear and warm.
Both places use hookahs-so you don't even have to be a certified diver.
How hard was it to get in and out of the cage? That actually concerns me more than the shark.
