NOTHING FITS!!!
I am totally out of clothes that fit! It's a good thing! I can't even take them up anymore as they just look weird. My shoulders are so much smaller. I am starting to think they look sexy. (That's pretty odd! lol) I don't want to spend much money on new clothes as I am hoping to continue to shrink! I have been really enjoying some quiet me time lately shopping for bargains! I found two shirts last weekend for 3.49 each at Ross!! This weekend I bought some capris and some jeans as I look like a bag lady in my old ones! lol I am enjoying bargain hunting! I may try the thrift stores next weekend??? I am almost in the "normal" size range...maybe I am already...what is normal anyway? I am wearing 18's. I started this journey in a 30!!! Can you believe that!!! And the 30's were getting tight!! I can't wait to fit into a sweet 16!!! I really don't know what kind of goal to have below 16. It's just been so long since I've been here that it seems unreal!!! Last weekend I saw one of my daughter's school friends who hasn't seen me since my surgery. She didn't even know who I was. I had to tell her. This is a girl that was at my house 2-3 times a week for 3 years!! She was blown away by my weight loss. It was wonderful!! Next time I whine about something like not losing the rest of the weight fast enough...remind me of this post and how great I felt today!!! lol Hope you all have a great Monday!!! Diana
ONEDERLAND!!!! FINALLY!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!
Also, the best one is in Guthrie. It's called Karen's Closet. It used to be downtown on Broadway, but they moved to the corner of Division and Oklahoma in Guthrie. It's plus size consignments, and she starts at size 14 and goes upwards from there. She's cheaper than Anne's and always runs specials. She gives out punch cards that after so many purchases you get $10 off or free clothing. I have at least one punch card nearly full that I haven't redeemed yet. If anyone would like to use it, just pm me.
Thrift stores have gotten me this far, and mom's closet did until her things got too big for me. I still shop the resale stores in Enid when I go because they have a variety of sizes. Who can beat Rockies for $1 that are nearly brand new??
There's a place on Britton Rd just East of May Avenue..Name Brand Clothing. I don't have a lot of luck there because things get picked over before I get there..but they have a ton of clothing if you're willing to look at things to make sure no stains or rips are in them.
Both Annes and Karen's Closet are clean in style clothing.
