Deviled egg idea

On vacation, I had a new kind of deviled egg.  The 1/2 egg white was filled with shrimp salad.  They used those little, tiny shrimps and it was fabulous!  I can't tell you what else they used because I'm not a handy cook but most of you are so you could figure it out.  I thought it was a fabulous variation and added that much more protein!  And it was yum!

That is a great idea!  I bet it would be good with salmon too- sort of a salmon salad spooned in an egg white....

I have a terrible time with deviled eggs though-it's sad when you can't even boil an egg properly.

I can't do seafood but I bet chicken salad would be great too!  What a wonderful idea!  I am going to try that!!  Love me some hard boiled egg whites!!

one of my aunts always mixes tuna in her egg yolks for deviled eggs.. most the family loves them.. i have never tried them.. i dont eat fish.. but she gets good reviews

That sounds so good. I wish I was a good cook. I am so retarded in the kitchen. Ummm...my husband is pretty good at the stove, though! I know he can make regular deviled eggs....

Oooh, that does sound good.  I'll have to use my mad genius kitchen skills to try it out!

Kim, look at Paula Deen's site..I think she has a recipe for it or google it. Then adapt to suit our diets.

Personally, I think it's a sin to put anything in it besides what my mama made...but that's just me! I love Deviled eggs and so does my son.
