From what I have seen so far of my fellow classmates I am the ONLY male in the class.  Sadly none of them are lookers.   Ruth said I wouldn't have anything to distract me then.

I know you'll do just great!  Glad to hear that you won't have any "distractions" in class with you - ha!  Anyway, best of luck!

Hmmm Livestock Judging?  You're 3 or 4 years ahead of me, Dan...  I wonder if our paths ever crossed in 4-H and FFA back in the day lol.  That would be a small world.  Good luck in school tomorrow~ You're going to do great!

Dan, congratulations on your new future. Going back to school as a grown up adult is exciting. I went back to school when I was 31 and it was one of the best choices I ever made. You will do great because you have your head screwed on straight this time. With that said, go out there and wipe some butt ummmmm I mean kick some butt. LMAO. Seriously, best of luck to you,and if you need anything give me a shout. Rita

Goodie for you!  I can't believe you were a livestock judge.  My son & daughter-in-law both scholarshipped to NEO in Miami, OK and finished up at OSU in....you guessed it....livestock judging!  My son is now an ag teacher & my daughter-in-law in ag communications.  Yippie for OKLAHOMA!

Good luck going back to school.  Just keep that chin up and the next 8 months will sail by!  You can di it!!!  I start back Aug 18th after 25 years.....

Wendy my initial goal was to become an ag teacher.  But God had other plans for me I guess.  How old is your son ans where does he teach at?

Dan, I'm so very proud of you. I know that you're going to succeed this time, and you will be an inspiration to all you come into contact with.

My daughter received her CNA while still in high school at the age of 16. They could go to career tech during the day and school as well. As a senior, she completed her CMA and all the hours transferred to NOC-Enid. She had plans to be an RN. When it came time to draw the blood from people, she quit. All the hours transferred over to business where she graduated with her associates in medical business. She now works in a podiatrist's office taking care of insurance and billing. She is 20 years old.

I tell you this to encourage you. If my daughter who had some difficulties in school can do it, so can you!

Oh, and I think it's a wonderful thing about serving our Lord and his Children. That's the part I miss most about being a church secretary.

Good luck, and I'm rootin' for ya!

Hey I have always been a very strong bealiever that education is the most important thing a person can do in life to better their own life... with that being said I know it may have been tough in the past to get there, but YOU have a whole future ahead of yourself. You will feel  so accomplished when you get your CNA or if you go for something else. I strongly believe that you will feel a lot better about yourself and your future!!! Good luck with all in life!
