Sherry,  You know that you've always got me in your corner.  I've got a few ideas that I'll run by you later, when you want them.  So take your time and just know you've got an army of people here to depend upon. T.

I am so sorry to hear about your disappointment.  God has a way of reminding us who is in charge.  Like the others have said, maybe this is just what you have to get through to accomplish what you want.  I'm sure what we're doing to ourselves is very hard on our bodies, much less our heart.  I would stay close to your doctor and be a thorn in his side so he will keep it in his thoughts of what you're trying to accomplish.  Keep your chin up.  I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  Lynette

Thank you each for encouraging me. I am going to keep working on it....I have no idea what can be done, but I am going to give it all I have....If nothing can be done, then I will wait patiently then start yelling again!! This not just weight loss for me....It is life and death. That sounds drastic, but I have 3 stents already! The diabetes is out of control...even on atkins the lowest I can get my sugar is 250...fasting this morning was 297 no carbs!! 5 shots a day! No cheating!!! So things are happening in me that have to be stopped. Enough....I just want to thank you guys for your prayers and I will be here off and on....I love you total strangers!! You have become my family!!   Thanks. Sherry

So sorry to hear this...  I know how you feel though.  I know how hard it is to want it yesterday but having to wait until tomorrow and it feels like tomorrow will never come. I am glad to hear though that they are being cautious.  What good is WLS if something horrible happened because of neglegence? Being a mom, I know you know that TIME FLIES!!  Just focus on getting healthier for the surgery and it will happen in God's time! Love Dot

Sherry,  Hugs to you!  I have read a bunch of awesome advice for you and don't have much better to add.  My husband didn't pass his preop testing and ended up having open heart bypass in October-a double.  He was 39 years old at the time and wasn't even a candidate for stents.  The preop strictness of the weight wise docs saved my husband's life.  It's hard.  I know it.  I worried he would never be strong enough to have his gastric bypass and I worried he wasn't going to be around and we had only been married 2 1/2 years at the time...and because he is only home 8 days a month at the most...it's like we are still newlyweds.  We went through the most horrendous time but it was a short time.  He had his gastric bypass in February!  I can only imagine how difficult it will be to wait that long if you have to .  Keep the faith strong and do what you can.  I tell my kids....DO YOUR BEST AND GOD WILL DO THE REST.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I don't think your life is a soap opera at all.  I think you are a kind and loving person who needs to be as kind to herself as she is to others!  Hugs!  Diana
