It's a ladies only gym with a pool on south penn-has anyone been there or had heard anything about them?

I've only heard good things about it, but that was a couple years ago, I don't know about know, but I like the idea of a women's only gym, kinda like Curves.

I don't why the women's only thing freaks me out.  It has a pool and differen****er classes.  I enjoy the water aerobics at the Jim Thorpe center, but it's not really giving me the work out I need now (it's designed for 70 year old arthritis sufferers).  I'll continue to go there with my Mom, because it's something we enjoy together, but I need "more".

I don't know much about Mademoiselle, but the Y in Norman wiped me flat out with their water aerobics class a few years ago. I'm telling you, I was sweating and huffin' and puffin' and thinking I was gonna die!

Mademoiselle should give you a tour of their facility and let you see some classes in action. If they don't fit your needs, you might want to try out a YMCA.

Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

The WA at my old gym in Dallas was a tough work out too.  I understand the therapy work out is different-but we don't repeat any one move long enough for it to do any good (or any harm either).
