How do I add the cute tickers that you guys have?  I don't have any significant losses yet, but I would like to have a cool ticker. Thanks, Kim

You go to www.tickerfactory.com  When you make your cool ticker you need to do 2 things: 1) bookmark that page (remember your password) so when you need to update the data it will automatically save to this site and 2) once you have saved your ticker you copy  the TICKER itself and NOT the HTML code then come back to this site and paste it into your signature spot.  You find this under user settings seen at the left on this page.  If you get lost doing this just post and one of us will help you.  Almost all of us had to have help with this at one point or another. Go ahead and make your ticker.  You can post it even though you don't have any loses to post.  I started with all my pre-op losses.  All losses count!  If it is fat off your body it counts!
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

Welcome to the best board around!! I hope your daughter will just get on and read it. Even if she doesn't post right now, eventually she will. There is so much info on here...The best thing for her to do is go to a seminar too. That will help in her decision making process. I have no idea why insurance will choose to pay for one weight loss procedure and not the other when both are proven to work....It is so disheatning to we who are self pay....One advantage is that it will be tax deduc. later on....that, and we will be skinny....other than that, it sucks!! My mother is actually giving me an early inheritance to do mine.....It is saving my life at 56.  You will be giving your daughter a gift of a new life! You are a wonderful mother!!! It is a pleasure to meet you on here!!   Sherry

im since Ican't go to the support group all of the time, I use the OK forum as my support group time, so that way you're still involved with people you know, love, and trust.... T.

Thanks.  I am glad to finally have someone to talk to.  I feel better when I can ask questions and be prepared.  It helps me to know what to expect so I can plan as much as possible.

Welcome, I'm new here also.  I think I remember you from the support group.  I am also 21/2 hours away, bummer.  The drive isn't so bad it's the $40 it takes to get there!!!   Good luck on your journey!

Hi Kim, Welcome to Oklahoma OH and Weight Wise. I know how very excited that you must be for you as well as your daughter. Please tell her that she can PM me with questions anytime. If I don't have the answer I will find it for her. Can't wait to see you on the 17th. It probably doesn't seem like it , but the two weeks on liquids passes fairly quick. Just seems like yeaterday I was doing that and now it has almost been 7 months. (((((HUGS))))) Rita
