I'm approaching perky once again!  They ran in 2 liters and I drank another 17 oz so I'm doing well.  I think I can even have some chicken and HappyCat has demanded another bottle of liquids, Gatorade something, before I go to bed.  Thanks Ruth for the suggestion to call the nurse's station.  I was probably doing worse than I realized.  Thanks to everyone else for your well wishes.  It makes me feel really good! WW was wonderful as always.  We had a good time, if you can believe that.  Just wondering how much this little episode is going to cost me!  It really doesn't matter - I had to do it. So if I can get dehydrated, anyone can.  Please make sure you monitor your intake of fluids.  Do a better job than I've been doing!  You can bet I'll be more compliant now.  Don't like being on the receiving end of the big old needle! I love you guys!  And special love to my sister, HappyCat, who insisted on driving from MWC to take me to the hospital.  I'm sure I was capable of driving myself but she insisted!  (DH in out of town this weekend!)

That's a really good idea.  It's easy for me to just get kinda lax about liquids and forget how vital this issue is.  Won't be forgetting any time soon again!  Thank you!

The chewable Immodium I took really helped a lot.  I think I'm finally better in that arena! Thanks Shelly!

I will tell you guys I am once again dazzzled by the care at Weight Wise.  Where else could you get a call from the surgeon within 15 minutes ( lucky to get a call back fro PCP in a week!)?  And, when you arrive where else could you get 2 RNs to take care of you and the respiratory therapist (our own Ms Rita) to work on checking you into the computer system?? Yes, Kimmy was in worse shape than she realized.  What are big sisters for but to nag?  We went into this together and we will deal with all the ups and downs together! Moral of the story- don't get behind on your liquids!  Don't go walk in the park with your buddies without getting in a good amount of liquid BEFORE you go sweat! Denise
