The movies and lunch was a great idea.  It was a hilarious movie, and we had such a wonderful turnout!  It was nice getting to know some you a little better.  Although, I doubt Michelle would let me drive next time.  My dh always says I drive like Mario Andretti but w/out a sense of direction.  I'll bet Michelle would agree w/ him after today!  Really though, I had a great time.  Thanks for suggesting it, Kim.  And Denise, thank you for sharing your lettuce wrap with me.  It was so nice to not have to waste it, and even nicer to not have to pay for it all!  I hope to see you all at dinner on the 23rd! Diana, thank YOU for being willing to share a luch with me!  I know my eyes are WAY bigger than tiny tummy.  Our little group is so strange in that I felt so close to you guys so quickly.  I am usually much slower to feel so at home in a group of people.  I love our dynamics.  I truly feel so blessed to have all of you in my life.  OK, enough sappy stuff! I had a BLAST today!!  What are we going to do together next?  Want to go bowling?  I know it sounds crazy!  I can provide the comic relief.  I bowl really poorly- and that was many years ago.  Can big people play bumper bowling (you can't get a gutter ball)? I'd love to go bowling.  I have a ball and shoes, but I am a terrible bowler and I'm ok with that....how bad you ask?  Even after 2 sessions of league bowling, breaking a 100 is still a big deal...but our team was strictly non competitive-anyone who cared about the score was encouraged to go find another team.   A couple did get bitten by the bowlng bug and went on to more competitive pastures.  Me, I just like rolling the ball down the alley.

I'm so sorry I couldn't make it today, but it's sure great to hear what a good time everyone had! I sure don't want to miss the next one! ; )

Diana, I would be more than happy to let you drive next time. With me as the passenger telling you which exits to take, granted it might be as we pass that exit, but that doesn't matter, we will be all good. If you want, I'll drive next time lol. I did have a great time these past two days, all thanks to all you girls that are such a blast to hang out with! I really hope I can be up here the next time you guys get together to do something. Later on in the year we could always go to the zoo or something like that. I haven't been to the zoo in forever lol. Thanks again gals, I had a blast!!!

I think bowling is a great idea!  I bowl a pretty mean game myself.  I usually average a whole 80!  Try topping that! LOL.  I think anyone can use bumpers.  They even have little metal ramps to aid in "granny bowling" that little kids use.  That would be hilarious to see a bunch of grown adults bowling using "kiddie methods."  Of course, the old fashioned bowling would be pretty laughable too, with several of us tossing our balls into the gutter more often than not! 

I have always liked bowling but never been good at it.  I broke 100 once.  My friends felt I should print out the scoresheet and frame it!! lol  I am the weirdest bowler, I will have a strike and then a gutter ball or two or three...too funny!!!  I like the idea of having a variety of activities for our get togethers...someone may not be comfortable with one activity but would love another....and then there are those of us who would enjoy them all!  AND YES KIM WE ROCK!!!
