Amy - I still struggle with getting enough fluids in but I've never gotten too dehydrated.  You are doing great on liquids - better than I did at this point.  I remember being relieve when it was time to go to bed because I didn't have to force liquids any more!

Amy, I too still struggle w/ liquids.  I only got about 48 oz myself in today and I'm almost 3 months out.  (No lectures please, anyone!  I'll try harder tomorrow!)  By the way, if you do really feel uncomfortable, it's possible to get more meds for acid reflux.  I've been on Reglan for acid reflux prescribed by Dr. Walton on day 3 and have been taking it before (almost) every meal since.  It really does help.  My tummy's name is Fred, and the meds seem to make him behave a little more.  I didn't feel really happy about my sleeve till about week 4 after I was used to eating again.  Give yourself time and go easy on yourself and your expectations.  Everyone is different, but we are all working towards the same goal of being healthy.  I believe we will all get there with all the support this group has to offer!  Take care!  2 weeks is a long time now, but in a couple of months it will feel like it was nothing.  Diana

I struggle most with getting fluids in, too. You aren't alone on that one. I've only actually hit 64 ounces in twice since surgery. : ( I've never had severe dehydration, but I struggle with drinking enough every day. It is a chore for me.
Blessings and Best Wishes! Shelly

It's a holiday-get out a nice wine glass and sip your grape koolaid out of that.  Make it an occasion.  Or have a nice cup of herbal tea-I am often able to do warm liquids easier than cold-herbal tea is my new comfort food.

It is normal to feel a bit let down after the excitement of surgery has passed and the reality of healing sets in.

Hang in there!
