Heparin?

We usually give the Lovenox injections. Everyone is right about them not hurting. They do sting or burn somewhat, but the needle is very small. I also walked away with some pretty good size bruises. That's okay though, because it is certainly better than the alternative.

After my first surgery in 83, I got heparin shots and they didn't hurt a bit.  After my RNY, I got Lovenox and they were so painful.  I hated the burning and stinging.  I had huge bruises on the lower part of my belly.  But Lovenox might be safer---I think I've heard that the heparin is made in China and might be contaminated.
