My favorite has been ff refried beans and cheese. It's kinda getting old though. I was just curious what your favorite thing to eat was. Have a great Sunday, Rita

Hi Rita.  After three weeks of liquids, I think my soft scrambled egg and cheese will be my favorite.  That will be my first soft food choice for my breakfast in the morning.  Just a few more hours and I will be able to eat again!!!  All in all the last three weeks haven't been all that terrible. I go see Dr. Broussard this coming Tuesday for my first check up since surgery.  My weight has been up and down over the last two weeks.  Is that normal?  Talk to you later.
  Surgery date:  March 3, 2008

Weight lost since surgery:  40 pounds
Total lost pre and post op:  68  pounds
Weight lost from my highest:  82  pounds

Wynotha, That egg and cheese will taste so good. I haven't missed a week losing since I had surgery. I only weigh once a week though. I notice that if I weigh everyday it will flucuate. Good luck with your appointment. Glad you are doing well, Rita

String cheese and Turkey Jerky are my favs.  I treated myself to Bueno beef nachos, just ate the toppings though and maybe 2 chips.  Ground beef with cheese, onions and salsa seemed to gone done real good.

My fav is fat free refried beans with fat free cheese and salsa with black olives... melted of course. Plus I love hot and spicy chicken.

NOT BEEF! I like chicken.  I buy the smallest can and eat it straight out of the can for lunch with nothing on it.   Cheese of any kind...melted on refried beans, melted on chicken or eggs, twisted string cheese.  I like turkey chili with cheese on top (ofcourse.) Everyone at work thinks I seriously only eat protein bars, cheese and chicken.  Every now and then I will eat some tuna but I can't eat it without light mayo and relish.  We aren't suppossed to eat relish so I don't have it very much at all. I would love to have nachos without the chips. But, I just can't go there.  Nachos was my downfall prior to surgery...and Ted's Escondido....mmmmm....Ted's.....I work across the street from Ted's.  How awful is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG Dianna, I could not work across the street from Ted's and not go there. I'm pretty sure you can have the relish in your chicken now. Jus****ch for sugar content. I think that it was just when we were in the soft stage that we couldn't have it.
