sun on me sunshine its a.....

Its been six weeks since I had my open rny. Two weeks since my 3 day trip back to the OR and all is well. I have lost 37 pounds not bad for a girl who has been in the hospital for 11 days. I had my drain tubes removed last Friday and tomorrow it will be like Christmas come early..my dreaded and hated feeding tube will be removed along with the rest of my staples and stitches. So if anyone sees a woman flying up I-35 singing it will be me....

That is good news Pattye!  I hope you are feeling much better now.  You are well on you way to a successful WLS experience, even if it has been rocky.  The important things in life, like health, are worth fighting for, and you my friend, are a warrior!

Thank you very much! I use tot hink of myself as aa survivor and now i know I am. If I had to do this over again and have the same thing to happen...I would In a minute. What does not break you makes you stronger and this has made me alot stronger than I ever thought I was!....Btw  my feeding tube and staples are gone...I feel free
