Is everyone OK?

Oh Debra, I am so sorry for your snakes and what you are going through.  If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.  If you just need a get away tomorrow, give me a call.  Just know that you are in my prayers. Everyone else, I want you all to know that I am praying for you and your families.  I pray for safety and warmth and health and peace. We lost our power Sunday at 1pm and still don't have it back on.  We got a generator Tuesday night and were lucky to get it.  A tree limb fell on our chimney and smashed the metal cap but we had a spare.  Another limb tore off part of our gutter and another limb bent our chain link fence over.  We keep a fire going to heat the living room and use space heaters in the bathrooms and bedroom.  We'll have to unplug the fridge and do some laundry tomorrow.  I'm thankful that we didn't have any major damage.  I'm very sorry to hear about folks who have had major damage.  A gal that used to work in my office had her house burn down and her son died in the fire. We live near Verdigris which is between Claremore and Tulsa.  We have Verdigris Valley Electric and haven't heard any estimate about when we'll get our power restored. Stay safe and warm everybody! 

We lost ours about 2 am on Monday and it finally was restored today, sometime before 8 am when I came home to check on my dog.  So glad to have lights, heat and a computer again!  Mom is still waiting for hers to come on here in BA.  So we are staying warm at my house for now.

My mom and dad's power finally came on about an hour ago in Sapulpa.  I have felt so bad for them...living this far away, I felt like there was nothing I could do for them...except pray for them. T
