Ladies, they can "re-bury" your ports if they really start to stick out--they did a story in New York magazine a few years ago featuring someone who had a lapband & is now REALLY sexy--she was on the cover. I even remember her name, Lisa, and she used to be a cop.
I don't remember if she had plastics done, but they definately switched her to a smaller port & re-buried it.
