Ohhhh the pain!!!

DEB..........DO YOU HAVE ANYONE THERE TO HELP YOU?  IF NOT PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Yes my mom stops by and my friend Mary stops by and my cousin lives a few houses from me. The pain isn't all the time. It's on my right side and hurts when I get up from sitting. It feels like someone punched me in the ribs! I still am walking hunched over too. I have to call Dr C 's today to make my 10 day appt. I will ask if this is normal . Plus my ankles (or should I say kankles) LOL are huge. They go down during the night but swell right back up during the day. Dr C took me off my water pills. So that is another question I will be asking them about.
I hate taking the pain pills because then all I do is sleep. I am not use to laying around. I'm normally on the go!!

Debi, I'm sooo sorry you are having a bad time...I had a strange burning pain in my hip for about 2 weeks after surgery.  I blamed it on sleeping on my back in the hospital (not a back sleeper).  I also had big trouble sleeping when I got home.  I was up most of the night...not with pain...just off my schedule I guess. I didn't like the pain pills either...actually, weaned myself off after about a week.   Please ask the Dr about your problems...I know everybody has different problems afterward...Good Luck...I hope you have a better day today! Did you ever get a hold of Nicole B? You said you had her # and you were going to call her. I was just wondering if you ever did? She lives near me but I don't have her #. If you didn't get in touch with her maybe I will ask at my next Dr's appt.
