I need a drink!

Ok, so yesterday I go to get a whole bunch of pre op test for Dr. Mcginty.  Take a whole day off and missed my abdominal ultrasound because the person who confirmed the appt the day before told me i could have breakfast which I couldn't.  I got the bloodwork done and the daboutime stress echo which was the worst.  The catheter was bad, the medicine which speeded up my heart was bad, I thought I would die!  I was about to freak out on that bed and kept asking the doc are we done? Next I go to get the ultrasound and first thing i say is i had breakfast like 2 hrs ago.  The recept says come back another time!  I was given the wrong info and was told I could not eat the night before after 9 pm , but could have breakfast?  I asked her if she was sure, she says yes.  Turns out she's just a scheduler, doesn't even work in the office.  Not to mention pipes bursting under NYC , train derailment evacuation, no work today freeze zone. no trains going into Grand Central my stop,  My 2 yr old is driving me up the wall with the "I wants"  right now, should have taken her to the babysitter.  I need a drink!  Ok i'm done lol

Awww, you HAVE had a day!!! Tomorrow will be better, it HAS to be, right? Keep pushing through. We can't help it when others don't do their jobs right, we can only control how we handle it. Just keep pushing through, Friend!

Thanx you guys!  It looks like i'll be off tomorrow again.  Welcome back JavaJane, glad you made it through allright. I called my PCP today and it turns out he didn't fill out nor send the surgeon the med history he needed to which i gave him 2 weeks ago.  He told the recept he never got any pappers.   Just great.
