BAD DAY AT WORK NOSY COWORKERS!!!!!!
Hello everyone well i recently went back to work after being out 9 weeks . This is my 3rd day back and up until now everyone has been real quiet about my surgery. I did not tell alot of people but somehow everyone knows whatever no biggie . Well my problem is that I have a real nasty boss who looked at me and said you look good hope you don't gain it back !!!! I thought to myself how rude and then she went on to tell me about all the complications hello i did my research and I am a nurse. I was soooooooo mad she then brought up the topic in the break room now everyone knows and I was so embarrassed everyone started telling horror stories of complications people have had . Everyone asking a million questions . I wanted to walk out that moment I honestly did not know how to handle this any suggestions.? Well anyway thanks for letting me vent . Hugs Lori
Thanks Stacy This women seems to be a very jealous type person. SHe is overweight but she gets her joys out of itimidating and hurting people. I pretty much told them all that I know all I need to know and it's my business. I hope I don't have to deal with this again . I am still shocked but I feel better now that I vented and I a m gettimg the support. Thanks again Hugs Lori

I agree with everyone that it was certainly a violation of your privacy and I would see about filing a grievance especially if you were out on disab since that is nobody's business but yours.
As far as people asking questions, you can simply either answer them or say, I've talked about this so much, let's talk about something else and then change the subject. People who have WLS or get pregnant seem to hear all the horror stories, so for those who wish to get into all the stories, again, thank them for their concern, tell them you did the research, know/knew the risks involved and change the subject.
Best of luck to you! Let us know what you decide to do. Sue
