Hello All ~hugs~ I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was mostly relaxing and feeling very lazy, I get this way 1 week before my T.O.M.  It sure takes a toll on me these days!  I missed going to the gym on Friday but made up for it on Sat which was good. It was just so damn HOT! OK my exercise goals for this week are: 1. Turn it up some when I am doing the Kickboxing and Boot Camp, taking it to the next level.  2. Drink more water when I am working out!!!  Ok who is next...

I walked in to work this morning so that was 2.78 miles. I plan to check out Curves tonight.  I've been going to the gym, but I think I've been stressing my neck and back so I am looking into some exercise that is more gentle on my old feeble bones. Then I will walk back from there which is about another 3 miles.

I am also trying to make sure I get enough water in.   Take care, Sue

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is. - Ellen DeGeneres

Sue, Wow that is a long walk, good for you!  My gym has the circuit machines which is really good and I really like them so that might work good for you as well.

Thanks for posting hun, have a great day!

Drinking enough water is never bad...  but I do know what you mean about making yourself full.

Take care

Um, I'm trying to participate more on these boards so here we go I guess. 1. Keep up my walksand try to step it up few blocks. 2. Drink more fluids. 3. Try not to berate myself when my walks are too hard to finish because of the hot weather. I guess thats it..

Well I finally kicked the honey pretzel habit!  I usually go to the gym in the morning before work.  Lucille Roberts is about three blocks from my job.  My work hours are from 9 to 5 but I had to be in work early at 6:45 a.m. to get my work done.  I can't stay late because of my toddlers.  SO I managed to get to the gym at lunch time.  My goals for this week is to continue working out in the morning.  I do cardio (30 Minutes) then weights (upper body) and alternate with lower body.  You be surprised how many inches I lost doing free weights.  I started off with 8 pounds dumbell and now I'm up to 15 pounds.
