Center of Wellness NYC

Hi all this is my first time posting, just joined.  Does anyone know a bariatric surgeron with the center being a center of wellness in NYC?  I was reading a past post from someone in another state and she said she didn't have to go through the 6 month supervised diet w/ her doctor because his office was "center of wellness".  Thanx in advance!

Do you mean Bariatric Centers of Excellence?  Going through the 6 mnth ssupervised diets are usually a requirment by your insurance company, regardless of which durgeon you choose. Shara

I think that the Cori center in Manhatten is ...not 100% though but thats where my sister went for surgery and got in within two months. I went to the Barix center in PA  it only took 3 months to get evrything done with them and they handed everything with the insurance company for me .
