Jane sorry to hear you are not feeling well.  I just want  you to know I felt the same way too.  The first week besides the burning pain underneath my chest I thought I was ready to take a walk to the store.  I went one block to pick up groceries.  It was the biggest mistake of my life.  I felt like I ran a marathon.  I was exhausted.  The pain from the main incision was burning.  It was awful.  And the sweats.  I had that too.  Perhaps its from the withdrawel of pain meds.  I remember that happening to me when I was recovering from a c-section.  I would take it easy for two more weeks.  You will have plenty of time to begin excercise.  Right now its time for the body to heal.  The burping is normal too. Take care and good luck.

Hi Jane This is Marie from Support Group. I wouldn't worry about anything. I pretty much had the same problems but they went away in a few days. Slow down on the walking for a bit. Do less activity for a couple of days. You might be over-doing it. The surgery does make you tired. I went back to work too soon because even though I only sat at a desk, I was very tired after 4 hours.  Take it slow. Don't do too much right away. If you need anything, just ask.
