Dr. Garber doesn't feel that the hernia is responsible for the Motility problem I have. He explained that when the intestine did pop through and caused the pain...at those times my motility was probably at a total halt. But being this was so intermittent, the motility issue is still unexplainable. I wished that he'd find something else while in there that would explain the problem but he didn't.
He did see an ovarian cyst and many fibroids on the outside of my uterus....all of which I knew about. But nothing that would cause lack of motility.
FYI: the new medicine I'm on for it, Amitiza, has helped somewhat. It's far from normal but better than before I started the medicine.

Thank you, Britt. I'm so glad you and we have such a wonderful doctor. You mentioned the support group. If you meant the one at Mercy, I'm SO bummed. I have to take a business trip to Kansas (yuk) and will miss it. It would have been my last one before my surgery. Can you please TiVo it for me? (only kidding)
