Medicaid/Blue Choice Option

I have medicaid/Blue Choice Option for insurance and am currently going through the pre-op process (ultrasound, etc etc).  Does anyone else here have this type of insurance?  If so, what has been your experience with the approval process, time for approval, pre-surgery requirements, etc?

No sorry, I have Total Care Medicaid...don't know if it is similar at all, but I was covered completely.

I have Blue Choice/Medicaid.  My doctor just received everything and was submitting it to the insurance company today.  She told me that I should have an approval within a week.  WOO HOO The only pre-surgery requirements so far have been a physical with my PCP, and evaluation from the Psychiatrist.I will keep you posted.

I called the insurance company today.  They received the paperwork from my doctor on Wednesday.  They told me that it takes only 3 business days for the review process.  Quicker than I thought also.  So I will have an answer no later than Monday.
