How will I know?
Sheila; I am no expert by any means, I am only 12 days post op, but I already know and I am not eating everything yet. I will be at stage 4 tomorrow. I just try to eat very slow and since starting some solids (eggs, ect...) I try to remember to chew very well. I also try to make sure I measure out the ounces so I know that I am not over doing. It is rather amazing how you just know. And if I am not sure I stand up and walk around for a minute and then I almost always can tell I am full. I hope someone further post op then me also answers you. My daughter will be 2 months post op tomorrow from open RNY and she also can tell when she is full. She is pretty good about measuring her food also. Guess we are staying in the guidelines. Neither one of us has ever gotten sick after eating. Good luck to you. Did you get a Surgery date yet? Sally

After 6-7 months out I was up to 4 oz, and when I over do I can really tell. You may get the foamies, or just throw
