did any one have bad
I had horrendous breath right after my surgery. Is your urine a different color also? My doctor suggested to drink more water. It helped. I also broke up sugar free breath mints to suck on. This will pass.
Good luck.

USUALLY when people complain of this issues
its a result of being in KETOSIS, fat burning mode
from eating a high protein way of eating.
THis is a good thing cause you want to burn the fat
which being in ketosis does. AS maryellen suggested
more WATER helps with the bad breath and taste in the mouth!

Yes, to what Lisa said,
I'm a professional Dieter LOL. Prior to my WLS I lost 100 pounds 3 times in my life (only to gain it all back). Every time, I had the worst breath while losing the weight. My point is that it's not a result of the surgery: it's a symptom of the Ketosis that comes from weight loss so BRING IT ON! I wish I still had that symptom but it fades as the honeymoon passes.
Good luck and Savor the Bad Breath!!
Hugs,
Karen
